Sunday Morning Men’s Yoga Series

Samantha Free will be teaching this gentle yoga class series for men only. These classes are for beginner students and students returning to their practice. Each week, you will learn standing, seated and reclined poses and stretches. We will start and end each class with breathing and focusing our minds.

Series starts Sunday August 4th and runs until August 25th. Class runs from 9:00 am- 10:00 am August 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.

Our 4 Class Series is $70, with walk-ins $20 per class.

In the Studio Fridays, 4-5 pm 

Join Chloe for this 1 hour Mellow Flow (Gentle to Moderate) Slow Flowing Yoga Class; this class will move at a mellow pace with longer supported holds allowing for deep relaxation and movement of energy, creating peace and contentment to ease you into the weekend.

ROOTED: A Workshop on the Root Chakra

ROOTED: A Workshop on the Root Chakra with Chloe Higgins
Workshop: $35

Chakras are wheel like energy centers that contain life energies that reflect an aspect of consciousness. The Root Chakra (Muladhara) is the 1st of the 7 main chakras, located at the base of the spine. Muladhara is the foundation of all the chakras, as well as a foundation for our physical, mental, & spiritual growth. The Root Chakra deals with our need for stability & security so that we have a sturdy foundation to rise from. 

Join Chloe Higgins for this workshop to explore what the Root Chakra is all about - the energy, patterns, & consciousness associated with the chakra & what we need to do to maintain balance in our Root. This workshop will include pranayama (breath work) & a gentle to moderate (mostly seated) yoga flow with poses that help to balance & heal the Root Chakra. After the asanas, we will have a discussion about Muladhara (the Root Chakra) & how we work with the Root Chakra in our day to day lives. The workshop will conclude with a guided meditation in Savasana (final resting pose) to help you find your roots. This workshop will leave you feeling grounded & knowledgeable about your roots & how to care for your foundation!

Mindfulness Walk with Samantha at the Clinton Community Library

Strong research supports that mindfulness is helpful for those suffering from anxiety, depression, or even just daily stress. Mindfulness is awareness of the present moment, with an attitude of openness and acceptance that can help change our reactions and perspective.

Samantha Free will lead a Mindfulness Walk along the Clinton Nature Trail. Participants will observe the sights and sounds of this relaxing atmosphere. After the walk, light refreshments will be available in the library for all to enjoy.
