Vince Sauter has been studying Qi Gong and Tai Chi for the past 12 years. Starting with classes at the Omega Institute with Michael Craft and later on studying “I Liq Chuan” with Master Sam F.S. Chin. In 2013 he studied with Roger Jahnke, Director of the Institute of Integral Qi Gong and Tai Chi. In 2014 he studied with David Saltman at the Omega Institute to gain more knowledge on “Therapeutic” Qi Gong and Tai Chi. More recently in 2017 he studied under Master Wing Cheung, founder of the Tai Chi, Qigong & Feng Shui Institute and was certified as a Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi instructor. Vince has completed certification in The Fundamentals of Rehabilitative Qigong and Tai Chi.
Vince has been sharing his knowledge of Qi Gong and Tai Chi with students in the Hudson Valley area for the past 4 years including some private and special needs students as well as general classes. This summer he will be a faculty instructor at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. Vince also teaches Tai Chi at Duchess Community College as part of the Phys. Ed. Department.
Vince tries to focus on keeping the cultivation of Qi accessible to everyone by presenting “Tai Chi Easy” developed by Dr. Roger Janke as a foundation for learning. This form integrates gentle movements with meditation and self-massage that will help to reduce stress, improve balance, and improve overall health and well being. This foundation can then be expanded upon so the student can develop a long-lasting personal practice of Qi Gong and Tai Chi.
